So Ethan had yesterday off from school because of a Jewish holiday and so we decided to hit the prom...the Third Street Promenade in downtown Santa Monica. The adventure included tasting lots of fruit at the farmer's market, playing at the Disney store, and pretending to be pirates in a playground that is shaped like a huge whale. Successful day off.

I noticed lots of school-aged kids around town that day. It took me a while to figure out it was a school holiday. We love the Promenade! You guys did the exact things that we do when we walk down there.
