Tivo=better parenting

I have come to the conclusion that for a family who loves sports, Tivo is the only solution that allows us to watch what we want in the most efficient way possible. The fact that Cory can come home from school and spend time with the kids until they go to bed and THEN watch the Braves win is such a great thing. He can unwind without watching commercials and without being glued to the game for 3 hours. And of course, I love being able to watch American Idol in 20 minutes instead of two hours (seriously, could they have any more dead time or long commercial breaks?) So thanks to my cousin Nathan and his generous Tivo offering:-)

Another note about technological items: a good friend of ours is letting Cory borrow his itouch to study for the bar this summer. Now, I was skeptical about all the hype and everyone freaking out about how these things are awesome and the apps are awesome, etc. Blah, blah, blah, Apple is so cool, blah blah.

However, I must admit that they are pretty sweet. A touch screen and it knows when I move it sideways...amazing. I love playing the tapping version of guitar hero while listening to showtunes. Oh, and it is very helpful in Cory's studying:-)

Hey Lisa... I saw your blog on The Shelley's page. Tivo does equal better parenting. I love ours! It's so much better to fast forward commercials! ; )
