We are really enjoying spending our first summer here in California. Ironically, we haven't been to the beach yet, but we have had lots of fun in the sun. Last weekend, we had a barbecue in the park with some friends. Then on the 3rd, Cory got to play baseball with a bunch of guys and loved it. We went swimming a few times, got to see a small parade in Westlake Village, and then saw fireworks at a local park Sunday night. It was Ethan's first time and he loved them! Yesterday he kept pointing outside and saying boom. I was a little bummed because we couldn't do our own fireworks, but I completely understand why. I don't want to have to evacuate again because our mountains start on fire...

Fun! I dont think we EVER went to the beach during the summer because it was too annoying to fight the tourists. Funny how that is...now I would kill to go to the beach :)
