Holes and dustbusters

I always seem to be updating...today I am just going to talk about a few things I thought about today;-)

So is anybody else annoyed when they open up a nice men's shirt from the store and have to take pins out that make holes? I know it looks nice all folded and what not, but if I wanted a shirt with holes in it, I would ask our homeless man that lives down the street...

Secondly, I am a mother of two small children. How come no one ever told me about dustbsuters?!?! I have decided that they are a must for any young mom. Spilled Chex? Vacuum it right up. Some frosted mini-wheats that have been thrown after a two-year old's tantrum? Suck it up. I have a love-hate relationship with brooms and dustpans, so this is a perfect solution. Actual famous person?!?

I need to preface this post by saying that although I live in the best place to spot famous people, I never do. Until today...

I was walking home from the park with the kids when a car stops from pulling into a parking lot to let me cross. He smiles and waves me forward. He looks kind of familiar...I look closer and realize that it is Harrison Ford driving a Toyota Prius!!!
I try to stay calm, but I look over at the parking attendant and mouth, "Is that Harrison Ford?!?! He smiles at me and nods. I walk over nonchalantly to talk to the attendant and then watch Harrison Ford get out of his car, look over at us and smile, and then walk into a store. I talked to the attendant and apparently Harrison Ford is there all the time. What the?!? I live across the street! He also said Reese Witherspoon and Tina Fey were there yesterday.

So a few minutes later when I was over my "high" of seeing one of my favorite actors of all time, I thought about why it is such a big deal. He just looked like a normal guy going into a store. Being famous is truly a weird concept...
