It almost feels like we are starting a semi-normal life. Our apartment complex is full now and so I can take a break from showing apartments. It's funny how I sometimes feel like I am living in a house...I have become really handy and have fixed things for the tenants and I am responsible for keeping the building clean and secure. So, after a very unsure few months, Cory got offered a full-time job at the law firm where he had been doing some contract work! What a relief and a blessing! It's a great firm where he has some amazing mentors and it is close to where we live.
The kids are still adjusting to the transition. They love the parks around here and today we even got to go to the Santa Monica airport to watch planes take off and land. They loved it! I finally put Ethan in big boy underwear and he is doing great. I guess waiting until he was 3 and a half was a good strategy for us:-) Annalisa's personality is really starting to show. She is not as social as her brother, but she is great at figuring things out on her own. Now if we can just get her to give up her terrible two's screaming...
